Number.........................?

I am not sure what number this post would be as I have not payed attention and lost count. Anyhow, I had a decent weekend, except when I had to do some extra cleaning. My sister invited her friend over so I got nothing out of the extra cleaning. My computer, though fixed, still has a bizarre bug when it comes to running certain programs. I think it might have something to do with the fact that the video unit is an on-board module, not designed to be as powerful as a sepreate card devoted to generating visuals. It might also lack some visual program compatibility like with pixel shaders to produce the visuals for a program. Another update on my job search, my dad talked to the manager of the local target store and apprantly he did not even know I got interviewed. Someone was supposed to let him know, but apparently they did not. I will have to wait and see. Well, I have nothing else to say for now, so I will close here.

Tired

I am very tired today. I went to bed late trying to finish something. I didn't get the job I was looking for. They sent me an email at 6:50 in the morning saying they couldn't hire me on monday. It is sort of depressing. I was looking foward a steady income. It is not too bad, as it does'nt affect the pretty decent life I lead now. I'm just going to have to apply somewhere else. Over the weekend, there was a fall carnival for a local elementry school my baby sister goes to. It was not too bad, I had some fun. My sisters won a lot of sweets and soad pop to bring home with us. Anyway, I got other things to do so I will end here.

Friday

I had my interview at Target yesturday. I am not sure if it went good or bad. I was a bit nervous throughout the interview. I'm not sure if I could of answered some of the questions better or worse. I hope it did go well, becuase they said they would let me know in about a week. So, I'm gonna stress a little about the phone call until they either hire me or not. At least the weekend is here. I can't wait just to kick back, and relax. At the end of a school day on friday, I am very tired. It might be the few tests I took this week. Anyway, I have to go. James, Signing off.

Wednesday

My interview is finally here again. I got some prep stuff I am going to take care of tonight. It should'nt be too difficult to get the job, but I still worry some. A steady income will help me with some of my personal financial problems, becuase my parents can't afford them. Had to take the practice ACT today. It was not too hard, but it was tedious and boring. I also got a test tomarrow in AP English, and I wonder a bit about that. I will need to study some tonight if I am to do well. Today was not too bad, but it still made me tired. Monday

I am very tired right now as it is the first day of the school week. Anyway, my interview for my job was  pushed back. The employee to administer the interview could not show up for it so it was pushed back to this week. I have my interview this thursday at 4:30 p.m. It just annoyed me that I could'nt get the interview sooner, but no harm is done. Hopefully, with no distractions, that the interview will go well. I mean, it should'nt be too hard to get a job at Target, right? Also, my desktop completly failed for the weekend. I told my dad something was wrong, but he never saw the problem himself. My computer is now nonfunctional but we have taken it to best buy, so it should be fixed soon. My dad even thought to upgrade it once we got it back with a stronger graphics card. Anyway, I don't have much else to talk about today. James, Signing off.

Job

My job interview is today. It is scheduled for 4:30 at the Target over on Hamburg Pavillion. I am pretty sure I will get the job. My Dad says my chances of getting hired are pretty high becuase Target is now hiring all it's holiday help. Many of the employees hired for the holidays leave after holidays usually, keeping the employees who applied for or want to stay if their performance was good. I usually get home about 3:40, so that leaves me some time to get ready. It is kind of exciting. After all, it is my first job interview, and hopefully my first job. I have a set of clean new clothes on just for the interview. I want to look my best so I can get the job.

 I am really tired right now. I wanted a weekend a lot longer than three days so I could sleep to my heart's content but I did enjoy the days I had. This week is going to be pretty busy for me. I got to finish a summary paper, web page, and english quiz all tonight for homework. I also have to present my summary paper tomarrow in first block before we do some reviewing for the AP US history test on Friday. I also have a job interview thursday so I have to get ready for that where I will hopefully find employment. I am also reading the Stundent driving manual so I can attempt to get my driver's permit soon. I have a lot of studying to do for the test so I can do well. My dad still has not fixed the computer and refuses to do so becuase he believes nothing is wrong with it, though I have had the thing suddenly crash while I was doing something several times. Well, that is all I have for now, so I am signing off.

It is 1:44 p.m. on September 2, 2010. I have had a pretty good day so far. Did'nt have to do anything too difficult. I also got my permenant Library pass for lunch today. I actually had it yesterday but I had to get it laminated. My dad is also supposed to take me to Best Buy today becuase he has work off today. Finally going to replace that Playstation controller and hopefully get my computer repaired. Lately, I been having a large interest in Nintendo's Metroid series of games. It is about a little girl named Samus Aran who's parents were killed by Space Pirates. She was then taken in by a race of people known as the Chozo. They raised her to adulthood and made specialized equipment for her. She then became a bounty hunter swearing revenge on the aggressive space pirates. Anyway, it is an interesting story. I think I am doing pretty well in my classes right now as so far we have'nt done anything impossible yet. Well, I have nothing much else to say. James, signing off.

Post 7

The weekend was pretty good for me. I finished one of the games I got for my Birthday last week. My other 6 birthday gifts are still currenttly useless. My parents said they would get the things operational soon for use. I just came from my Calculus test and I think I did generally okay. I lost my AP english binder but I'm pretty sure it is Lying somewhere around my house. I have to find it today so I can do my homework assignment. My dad also checked up on my job application at Target. According to him, the Target employment manager is going to look at my application and start hiring soon. They are hiring holiday workers soon so my dad says my chances of getting a job are pretty decent. Well, I am tired so I gonna end my post. James, signing off.

Blog 6

Blog number 6. Well, it has been a pretty good week for me. The only things really bad happening is the fact that all my electronics at home are failing. I find a piece of my computer destroyed by a short, a different computer possibly having problems with the motherboard, and my only controller for my Playstation 2 I had for a few years broke. Those problems alone disallow me to use 6 of the 7 things I bought with 50 dollars for my birthday useless for now. Luckly, my the computer with motherboard problems is still under warrenty and my gamecube is still fully operational which I got something for on my birthday. I liked what I got, but lost 2 hours of data yesterday due to lack of the ability to save in certain parts of the game. My dad said he would get a new controller on tuesday, and we should be able to take our computer back to Best Buy where we got it to get it repaired. The controller I want is also at Best Buy so we should be able to take care of everything at once. Our computer was a new Gateway, not even a year old before it started to fail. Well, I have ran out of things to talk about. James, signing off.

Post 4

This is my fourth post. I applied for a job yesterday. I applied at Target. My dad and older sister already work there and the Holiday season is coming soon so my dad thinks my chances of getting the job is pretty decent. I also got a Driver's Handbook to read from my Older Sister. I'm going to be reading it so I can earn my permit and eventually, my license. Yesterday was also my birthday. We celebrated with some cake and ice cream at the end of the day. I enjoyed most of Yesterday. Nothing like German Chocolate cake and Cookie Dough ice cream to end a good day! Well, I have ran out of things to talk about so I am gonna finish this post. This is James, signing off.

Post 3

I am somewhat tired right now after a 3 day weekend. My body is still used to the long hours of extra sleep I could get in the summer. We celebrated my 16th birthday over the weekend though it is not technically until tomarrow. We went out to the Golden Corral out on New Circle for dinner. Afterwords, I was given a little bit of birthday money so I could go buy my gifts. My parents took me out the following day to get what I wanted. We went to Target first, then a Gamestop to find what I was looking for. I had 50 dollars to spend, 20 from my older sister, and 30 from my parents. I picked 3 items: 2 individual, and 1 a Five Pack. They were various games from the series called Half-Life, a highly acclaimed series for gameplay and interesting story. Anyway, my dad is supposed to take me out to Target again tomarrow so I can apply for a position there. That is all I have to say right now. James, signing off.

Blog Number 2

This is my second post. I don't have much to say. I will be celebrating my birthday this weekend with my family as it is next tuesday. We don't excatly have plans other than it is to be this weekend. I'm Hoping to get something like a new computer becuase the one I currently have in my room is extremely slow and lacks a connection to the internet. I actually know a bit about computers. I took a class in middle school after school as part of the Dell-Tech Know program. We examined the parts of a computer, open the chasis of the computers and cleaned them out. We also installed the Operating Software from scratch becuase the entire hard drive was wiped of data.We used XP as it was the best OS at the time. After the program we got to take the computers home. The comp. was bad becuase it was out of date and the school were probably going to scrap them. On graduation from Dell Tech-Know, we also got a Lexmark Printer (which has major jamming problems) and a 256 mb official Dell Tech-Know flash drive. First Blog

This my first post. I have never blogged before so this is very new to me.  I don't know what to post about becuase I don't go out much to do interesting things. I guess I will start with a little info about my self. My name is James. I live in a house of 8: 5 sisters, and 2 parents. I have an interest in science ficton (especially Star Wars) and Video games becuase I was around the stuff since I was very little. I had a Star Wars cake for almost every birthday and can remember.  I have a prefrence towards pc and Sony systems when it comes to Video Games becuase I have had my Playstation 2 for nearly 10 years now and it is still running though not like it used to. I also like the pc as a system becuase it offers more to the gamers than just the main game, often supporting tons of user-made content. There are games nearly 5 years old and people are still making content for them. I don't play very many sports, and when I do, it is purly recreational. Well, I can't think of anything else to say for now so I will stop here. James, signing off.
